At SMYL, the process is simple and straightforward. Here's what you can expect:

  • Check-in: When you arrive, the receptionist will check you in for your appointment.
  • Medical history: The dentist or hygienist will ask about your health history to make sure your teeth are in good shape.
  • X-rays: You might need to get x-rays taken so the dentist can see what's happening inside your teeth.
  • Cleaning: A hygienist will clean your teeth with special tools to get rid of any buildup.
  • Check-up: The dentist will look at your teeth, gums, and mouth to make sure everything looks healthy. If they see any problems, they'll talk to you about how to fix them.
  • Tips: The dentist or hygienist will give you tips on how to keep your teeth healthy, like brushing and flossing techniques.

Going to the dentist is important for keeping your teeth healthy, and the process is simple and easy. So don't worry, just sit back and let the dentist take care of the rest!

"We are proud to offer state-of-the-art technology that improves our patients' experience and dental outcomes. Here are some of the cutting-edge technologies we use in our office:

  • Digital X-rays - We use digital X-rays that produce less radiation than traditional X-rays and provide clear, detailed images of your teeth and gums. This allows us to detect dental issues earlier and create a more accurate treatment plan.
  • Intraoral cameras - Our intraoral cameras allow us to take detailed images of your mouth, teeth, and gums. These images help us to identify problems that may not be visible during a regular exam, such as small cavities or early signs of gum disease.
  • Laser dentistry - Our dental laser technology allows us to perform a variety of procedures with greater accuracy and precision. This includes treating gum disease, removing tooth decay, and even whitening teeth.
  • CAD/CAM technology - We use CAD/CAM technology to create custom dental restorations, such as crowns and bridges, in our office. This technology eliminates the need for multiple appointments and temporary restorations.
  • Cone beam imaging - Our cone beam imaging technology allows us to create 3D images of your teeth, gums, and jawbone. This provides us with a more comprehensive view of your oral health and helps us plan for complex procedures such as dental implants.
